SCANDINAVIAN FESTIVAL VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Thank you for your willingness to volunteer to work during the June 23-24, 2023 Nordic Culture Clubs Scandinavian Festival with ICELAND as host country.  The Festival takes place during these two days at the Hjemkomst Center and Viking Ship Park, 202, 1st Ave North, Moorhead, MN 56560.

Volunteer Orientation: If you have any questions about your jobs or would like to look at the building layout before the Festival, stop by on Thursday, June 22, 2023 anytime between 10:00 am  - 4:00 pm.  This is SETUP DAY, and most of the Nordic Culture Clubs Board will be onsite, as will the Scandinavian Festival Coordinator, Romayne Kilde.

Volunteer Parking: We ask that you please park at the Moorhead Center Mall Parking Lot or Ramp.  Hjemkomst Center parking lot is reserved for handicap parking only.  Crystal Sugar’s parking lot available only on Saturday.

Volunteer Entrance: Please enter through the East Side Door (Senior Center Entrance).  This door will be open at 8:00 am on Friday and Saturday.  Check into the Green Room (to your left when you enter) to receive your nametag and Volunteer Wrist Band. 
FRIDAY is ORANGE and SATURDAY is BLUE.

Volunteer Attire: Please wear Nordic Clothing or Costume if possible.
