Women United’s signature fundraiser celebrates women, friendship and philanthropy.

Join us on Sunday, November 7, for Women United’s signature annual fundraising event, Power of the Purse!

After an online event in 2020, we expect to be in person with CDC protocols in place. We will also have a virtual option again; an online buying and bidding shopping experience that includes dozens of trendy designer bags, silent auction purses, baskets and items. While the online shopping experience won't be active for purchases until November 7, you will be able to view all the available items beforehand so you will be ready when the event begins. We'll send you an email when the shop is ready to be viewed.

You also have the opportunity to help send underserved children to Kindergarten Countdown Camp and buy books and toys for preschool learning centers in Lake County’s low-income communities. 100% of all proceeds and items purchased will support early learning programs in Lake County’s most vulnerable communities through our Little Kids Big Futures Fund.

Whether you join us in person or online, you will have many opportunities to shop, support children's education, and have fun!

In-Person Event*

All buying and bidding will be done electronically using your unique event link via your personal mobile device. 100% of all items purchased will support early learning programs. The in-person event will be from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Royal Melbourne Country Club in Long Grove.
