Join us on Saturday, September 14th, at the beautiful See Canyon Fruit Ranch for an afternoon and evening retreat. The day will feature a concert on the lawn, a charcuterie board, worship, shopping, a photo booth, and inspiring stories and messages. Bring your own picnic dinner to enjoy. We hope this special day will uplift and refresh you with God's love. This day is designed for young women from junior high to college and the women who love them.

Nestled below the mountains of San Luis Obispo and up a canyon road from Avila Beach, See Canyon Fruit Ranch features lush gardens, an orchard of apples and pears, and a bright green lawn under a canopy of trees. This is the perfect location to be renewed and reset your soul.

Keynote Speakers

Dee Cekanor is passionate about equipping people to shine the light of Jesus. She believes that everyone has a unique light to shine into the world, and we can all learn to shine our lights in the ways that God has uniquely made us. Dee is also a retired Paralympian who spent 13 years representing Canada Internationally. Dee knows what it’s like to live a life that is different but has found purpose in the life God has designed. 
 

Allie Marie Smith is the Founder and Director of Wonderfully Made and is an award-winning author, speaker, podcast host, and certified life coach. She is the author of Wonderfully Made: Discover the Identity, Love, and Worth You Were Created For. She loves surfing and adventuring up and down the California coast with her husband, Paul, and Golden Retriever Gidget. 
 

Musicians and Worship Leaders

Emma Valentine is a 21-year-old songwriter and storyteller with a deep love for creation and the Creator. Born and raised in Santa Cruz, California, Emma lives a life full of sunshine, waves, and music. She continues to capture that beauty and depth in the music that she writes. Emma will be performing a concert and leading worship. 

Vita Sagisi is 16 years old. She has been part of the youth worship team at Calvary Chapel Santa Maria for 4 years. She loves sunsets, wildflowers, and heartfelt conversations.

Kiera Reitzin is 17 years old. She is from sunny Santa Barbara where she loves singing, writing music, learning new instruments, being with friends, and trying new foods. This is her second time leading worship with Wonderfully Made and she is so excited about getting to share God’s love through worship.

1. Who is this event for?

This faith-filled retreat is a special gathering for young women (13-post-college). If you're a high school girl or young woman, know that this day is for you! Moms, mentors, and female youth leaders are also welcome, but please only attend if you are bringing younger girls and women with you. Please pack your car full of as many girls as you can, as this special day is designed specifically for them, and we want as many young women to attend as possible. 
 

2. What is the minimum age allowed to attend?

Age 13. Keep in mind some mature topics, such as depression, suicide, and sexuality, will be mindfully addressed. 
 

3. I am coming from out of town. What is there to do in the area?

4. I am not sure what I believe about God, spirituality, or faith. Is it okay if I attend?

Absolutely. We are passionate about sharing the message of your true worth and the love and hope of Jesus with any girl or woman with an open heart. We would be honored to have you join us for this special gathering and hope that you will be uplifted and encouraged.
