USA Pendeza Uganda exists to support the efforts of Pendeza Uganda in creating an empowered and holistically transformed society to the glory of God. PENDEZA means "love" in Swahili, a regional trade language in East Africa (where Uganda is located).

The three program interventions of Pendeza Uganda are:

1. Micro-enterprises
   --Savings and micro-loan association
   Through Christ-centered micro-enterprise development, we empower men and women to strengthen their families, build their businesses, and unleash their dreams.
2. Sustainable family development programs
   --Capacity building training 
   Efforts are geared toward transforming communities, and the future generation to the glory of God in a holistic manner. Families under our programs are not only encouraged but they are trained and empowered to take personal responsibility in fighting against poverty and finding a way to thrive.
3. Child sponsorships
   --Enabling children from poor families to attend school
   Meeting the needs of the vulnerable children means providing their immediate need for school fees and other basic needs, but better still, introducing Christ to them, empowering their parents to be able to support the family on their own in the long run. Not only that, but receiving a sponsor can mean the world to a child. By communicating with them, you will be a great new part of their lives and we know from experience that you can have a tremendous positive influence on their lives as well.
