Hurricane Helene was a large, destructive, and fast-moving Atlantic Hurricane that was the strongest to strike the Florida/Georgia/North Carolina/Tennessee region on record. Helene reached maximum wind gusts of 140mph. Even as the storm decreases in intensity, the rainfall is still dropping in large quantities in the Southeast region of the United States.
