As Jews, we are taught to not stand idly by….what are we to do when we see people smashing car windows or stealing purses off someone? What if someone were being assaulted and we know the police can’t respond quickly enough? How do we keep ourselves safe from the random violence happening in our greater community?

Come to Temple Sinai on Wednesday, October 11 at 6:30pm to hear Brian Cassidy from the Oakland Police Department  Neighborhood Services Section speak to us about the current issues. This is not a venting session but a time to constructively ask questions and listen to what are some possible steps we can take to keep ourselves and those around us safe.

Sponsored by Wise Aging and WTS.
