Our firefighters and lifeguards might be superheroes, but they aren’t superhuman. Their real strength comes from the dedication, training, and critical tools they bring to every call.

We are excited to introduce the first-of-its-kind Health & Safety Wellness Center. This center will provide the services our first responders need when they're not on the front lines. These services include advanced cancer and cardiac screening, licensed physical therapists, and athletic trainers, ensuring firefighters and lifeguards can remain on the job or return quickly from injury or illness.

It also includes a commercial-grade kitchen for nutrition classes and cooking demonstrations. We know that wholesome foods decrease cardiovascular disease, aid in cancer prevention, and maximize performance and recovery. Finally, there are collaborative spaces where the department can host meetings, workshops, and group discussions.

We are working to raise about $250,000 to fully fund this vital project. This funding will cover the equipment and resources necessary to make the Wellness Center a reality. But we can't do this without you. We need your help to make this vision come to life.
