Welcome to SailStrong.org!  We are an organization originating from the generosity and compassion of Steve Piche.  Steve was a strong leader in our local sailing community, offering others the opportunity to learn sailing, sharing his passion by building events, and being an incredible friend to many.  Our local fleet has for many years worked with Big Brothers / Big Sisters to offer Hobie Day - a day where we give rides to bigs and littles on Lake Travis.  We then started sending 2-3 littles to the Austin Yacht Club sailing camp about 5 years ago and found the experience to be enjoyed greatly by those youth.  We now want to give 25 at-risk youth the opportunity annually to attend the AYC Sailing Camp to build strength through the sailing experience.  And we want you to be a part of this experience!  Your generosity will allow these youth to build their own personal strength, to have new experiences, and to grow from within.  Thank you for being a part of this experience!
