We have volunteered in a variety of roles for Chum over many years. Our favorite event is the Rhubarb Festival - making food, scooping ice cream, creating art with rhubarb leaves, etc. This year we are hosting a table at the Chum 50th Anniversary Golden Gala.

Join Us at the Gala

The Gala is Tuesday, October 17 at the Duluth Entertainment & Convention Center (DECC). The Gala fundraising goal is $200,000 to support Chum programming. Tickets are $100 and may be purchased on Chum’s website: https://www.tfaforms.com/5075456 or contact me. The evening will include a cash bar, gourmet dinner, live and silent auction, inspiring stories, an opportunity to make a donation, and an awards ceremony. You must register by September 30 to receive a free parking pass.

Make a Donation
Even if you cannot make it to the Gala, we still need your help to fight the rising number of people experiencing homelessness in Duluth. Even just $20 provides someone a night of shelter. Maybe you could commit to a $50/month donation. By the end of the year, that money would provide someone with shelter accommodations for almost a month, dry socks or mittens to 300 people living outside, or 1,800 meals.
