About Protez Foundaiton:
Protez Foundation was formed in May 2022, as local community volunteers in Minnesota answered the call to help support Ukraine in its fight for freedom against the Russian invasion. At Protez Foundation, we are committed to helping rehabilitate and give a chance for a normal life to the brave Ukrainian defenders, civilians, and children who have suffered limb loss during this war.
As of November 2022, Protez Foundation received 531 applications. However, the real need is much larger. According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, there are about 12,000 amputees currently registered and awaiting prosthetics.
Protez Foundation is the largest single initiative in the world fitting prosthetics for Ukrainians who lost their limbs, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Health.
To date, Protez Foundation has treated 22 people in total, including 2 children.
Your donations will help us bring next group of Ukrainian soldiers to Minnesota for prosthetics.

UKRAINIAN VILLAGE BAND
UVB is a Ukrainian group which began as a Zabava (event & wedding) band in 2007. Their repertoire includes traditional and modern Ukrainian music, as well as their own takes on international pop and rock tunes.
Based in the Twin Cities, Ukrainian Village Band performs at a wide range of venues and events - cafes, clubs, taverns, festivals, benefits and weddings, New Year’s Eve balls, and at a variety of private functions. They headline the Ukrainian Heritage Festival in Minneapolis each year, and have performed at the Minnesota State Fair, Ukrainian Days festival in Chicago, Festival of Nations and the Badlands Ukrainian Days festival in North Dakota.
Additionally, UVB sponsors and organizes concerts by popular performers from Ukraine and the Ukrainian diaspora, as well as the summertime ethno-festival Ivana Kupala (#MNIvanaKupala). They also volunteer at a variety of local Ukrainian community events throughout the year, most recently focused on the ongoing war perpetrated against Ukraine.
The Cedar Cultural Center has collaborated with UVB many times and are so delighted to host their big fifteen year celebration!
Wherever they play, people will dance to polka, waltz, latin, rock, kolomyjky (traditional Ukrainian circle dances) and more…
Please join the UKRAINIAN VILLAGE BAND as they celebrate their 15th anniversary!
