Your membership will help PatchworkRVA cover organization and event expenses. 

Just this year we have held various events:

  Participated as a partner for the Juneteenth Jubilee at Byrd Park, Summer of 2021. 

  Voter Registration Events at several locations in RVA including a Yoga & Voter Registration Event. 

 Supported many other groups for various events such as Black Pride RVA.

 Coding Classes with MLK and Henderson Middile School.

 Winter Sock and Glove Drive at multiple locations.

 Donation Drives for Local Homeless Shelters, we partnered with orgs such as WorldUp to make this happen! 

Some of our future initiatives include: 

  Partnerships with Richmond Public Schools and other organizations to lead and sponsor educational programs for children and adults in the subjects of STEM, Financial Literacy, Home Economics, Political Literacy and Professional Development.

 Resource-mapping for members of the Richmond community who are in need of services such as Food, Mental Health and Community support.

 A Mentorship program currently in development and scheduled for implementation Summer 2022.
