"Your child has cancer." Those are the words no parent should ever have to hear. In October 2016, these were the four words that forever changed the lives of the Stamp family and far too often are heard around the world. Those words are doubly devastating when the diagnosis is pediatric brain cancer, the number one cause of cancer-related death among children.

At Layla’s Legacy Foundation our mission is to fund innovative pediatric brain cancer research while bringing hope and help to families impacted by the disease. We are a Dallas-based 501(c)(3), founded by Sara and Bryan Stamp in memory of their 5-year-old daughter Layla, who passed away in 2017 from medulloblastoma, the most common form of pediatric brain cancer.

During their journey, the Stamps recognized the desperate need for more funding for research and more support for families impacted by these terrible diseases.

Our mission is to bring together people with the common goal of building a legacy of funding the research that will one day eliminate the need for parents to hear "There's nothing more we can do," and we believe this legacy begins with you.
