Keep Knoxville Beautiful will be hosting our fourth annual Third Creek Clean Paddle on May 11 from 10am-12pm at UT Gardens. We will be removing litter from the area around Third Creek, both on land and in the water.

This year, we have a special partnership with Ijams Nature Center to remove invasive species along the greenways.

We will have kayaks and paddleboards thanks to the Knoxville Adventure Collective! Volunteers will have the option to work in the creek, along the greenway, or remove invasive species.

Volunteers are welcome to bring their own kayaks. Life vests are required. 

Keep Knoxville Beautiful will provide the following equipment:

• Litter pickers

• Gloves

• Trash bags

• Safety vests

• Nets

We highly recommend wearing long pants and all volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes for the event.  Please bring your own sunscreen, bug protection, and water.
