Thank you so much for visiting my fund page. My goal is to raise $1,000.00 for the Merivis Foundation before Veteran's Day.
Please read on to learn more about me and about the Merivis Foundation, which is helping Veterans to succeed after they leave military service.
My short little story:
My husband has served for almost nine years in the US Army. My family moved from Fort Huachuca to Austin Texas, as a mother and an Army wife, I was not sure what my next step would be. I was tired of looking for job, but I always wanted a career and I knew for sure I wanted to change my life. I was not sure what to do next, until one day, my friend posted something about the Merivis Foundation. After I reviewed their website, I was very intrigued, and I was sure I wanted to get involved and be a part of their training program. After completing a four-week class, I started getting calls from tech company for jobs opportunities, companies I would not even imagine applying to because I did not have the tools or the knowledge, I have received through Merivis. I am so happy I made the decision to take the first step to a new world, new career goal and a new life. Merivis, for me is life changing, it is both challenging and empowering. Merivis empowered me as well as inspired me to believe...believe that women like me with no tech back ground could become anything in the Salesforce ecosystem. Merivis not only provides you the training you need to get to the next step, they also enable you to develop your interviewing skills through mock interviewing, they help you build your resume, and they provide great career counselling from leaders in the field. I believe all veterans and spouses should support Merivis Foundation, it is a beacon of light that helps veterans and spouses find purpose. With your support, Merivis can continue its mission on aiding veterans and military spouses find their purpose.

About Merivis
Merivis Foundation supports veterans preparing for their next missions through training, mentorship and job readiness for Salesforce cloud technology positions. With a growing need for Salesforce certified professionals and an increasing number of underemployed veterans in the country, we bridge the gap to help veterans’ transition to civilian life and find great careers. Since we started in 2015, Merivis has impacted the lives of nearly 100 military veterans by supporting them in their transition to civilian careers. Through our Salesforce training programs, we've put them on the path to growing, in-demand technology roles and we couldn't have done it without every member of the Merivis community.
We invite those that have been a part of Merivis as students, alumni, volunteers, coaches, sponsors, advocates and friends to join the Merivis fundraising team in spreading the word and raising funds to host additional programs in support our veterans. Our goal is to have 30 individuals raise $1,000 each before Veteran's Day and celebrate with us on Saturday, November 10th at the Accenture Memorial Walk benefitting Merivis.
You can contribute to Merivis here or choose one of our Alumni or Advocates pages below to help them reach their goal.
