Dear friends,

I am excited to share with you a new organization I have fallen in love with and want to help bring more resources to support the work they do for children in our community. As you are part of my personal community of neighbors and friends, I am inviting you first to join me in spreading Joy in the Twin Cities!

Joy Collaborative is an organization that is a partnership of impassioned doers and givers, designers, architects and builders; donors, volunteers, and sponsors—who come together to transform kids’ personal spaces. They create environments that for some kids become magnets of activity; for other kids a place of respite. For all the kids and families they serve, they aspire to create spaces that deliver joy. Joy Collaborative believes Every kid needs a place where they can be themselves--Especially kids challenged by conditions that limit their activity and often keep them homebound.

To support the great work of Joy Collaborative, I am hosting a Joy Party at my home, and YOU are invited, along with a few other people. You are welcome and encouraged to bring a guest if you wish. I will serve dinner and drinks, together we will share cheer, and the Founder of Joy Collaborative, Mark Ostrom, will share a brief presentation about the work he does to design Joy Rooms for children. Afterward, we will ask you to all lean in to support the work with a financial gift. I hope you will consider and join me to make this a successful night of fundraising for a worthy cause and a beautiful program.
