**THIS EVENT HAS NOW ENDED** But you can still purchase tickets to access all of the sessions, panels and classes by registering for "On-Demand."
Journalism & Women Symposium's annual Conference and Mentoring Project (CAMP) will be online and on-demand this year from Dec. 4-6.
Join us for #CAMPOnDEMAND -- The Future of Journalism: Forging the Path Together -- an online gathering where women in journalism will explore our profession's response to the astonishing tumult of 2020 -- and discuss what journalism should look like if we’re committed to racial justice and democracy.
You can expect to find educational opportunities to improve and expand your skills, inspiring speakers, plenty of time to share stories, make new friends and experience the importance of what we all do as journalists.
Award-winning documentarian, journalist, speaker, author and philanthropist Soledad O'Brien will be the Saturday evening keynote speaker. A variety of panels will provide skill-building and explore the future of journalism, diversity, equity and inclusion and journalistic responses to the events of 2020.
Long-time CAMP tradition Books & Browse will take place through a panel of authors, readings and Q&As online.
Keep up to date with all things #CAMPOnDEMAND at jaws.org/conference.
How to Register
Select the appropriate registration level from the buttons on the top right-hand side of this page (or at the bottom of this page on your mobile device).
The registration form asks for optional information (city, job title, social media network handles and more) that will go into a program book that is available to those who register for networking purposes.
There are two ways to access the programming:
With Regular Registration, you can watch CAMP 2020 programming live but will also have On-Demand access to all programs, so you don’t have to choose between one program and another.
With On-Demand Only, you get access to all the programs one week after #CAMPOnDEMAND ends. You can watch them on your time.
No refunds are offered on registration. However, if you are not able to attend live, you will have On-Demand access and will be able to watch the programming on your own time after CAMP 2020.
