Mission statement
Our mission is to give at-risk hounds a second chance for an enriched life while educating the community and strengthening the human-dog bond.
Vision Statement
That every at-risk hound in Texas gets a chance to experience a life where they are loved and cared for by humans who live enhanced lives by including a hound in their families.
Core Values
Support and promote the concept of the adoption of hounds.
Lead responsibly with compassion and transparency.
Educate the community about responsible hound care.
Provide quality veterinary care for the hounds in our rescue.
What we do
We bring in hounds primarily from Texas (but not limited to) and adopt them to families all over the United States of America. We pull hounds out of shelters, hoarding situations, and domestic violence situations, and we take owner surrenders.
We get the hounds caught up on vetting to include vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter, heartworm test, fecal test, and prevention. If a hound needs additional treatment for any medical issue found, we provide that. If a hound has behavioral issues, we consult with a specialist to make a plan for moving forward.
