Your donation to the Health & Wellness Wishlist item provides critical funding that brings sport into our school and enhances the physical education and experiences of Bell School students.  Several years ago Chicago Public Schools lost all funding for sports in elementary schools.  Friends of Bell now provides athletic and enrichment programs and clubs with the goal of teaching Bell School students to handle adversity, encouraging teamwork, and engaging in physical activity.  

These funds will also benefit all 5-8 boys and Girls Bell athletic teams. We would use the fund to purchase equipment, pay referees, "We Got Game" League and tournament fees, and reduce or cover the cost of athletes' uniforms throughout the seasons. 

For year 2024-25, the School will use funds donated to this Health & Wellness Wish List item to purchase equipment and help cover costs for Bell sports programs and clubs, without which they will disappear next year!
