As with most Non-Profits, COVID-19 has presented unique challenges in the way Grow Local South Texas plans to host our 8th Annual Farm to Table Fundraiser & Dinner. Not only the Coastal Bend’s culinary event of the year, the Farm to Table Fundraiser & Dinner is our annual showpiece of what access to, education about, and advocacy for local, nutrient dense food can produce in South Texas. Funds raised at this event represent a large percentage of our annual operating budget.
Grow Local South Texas is working tirelessly to create the foundation for a strong, local food system. Our programming connects residents of all ages and backgrounds in our community with local, nutrient dense foods and promotes a varied and engaged agricultural economy. Your help and support will strengthen these programs and fuel the success of the organization’s mission for years to come. Alas, the show must go on, albeit in a different way! We are excited to adapt and are embracing dynamic and innovative thinking. Our local farmers, chefs and volunteers have called upon themselves to think outside the box and bring you Grow Local South Texas’ 8th Annual Farm to Table Fundraiser & Dinner – TO GO!
In line with our original plan, we have partnered with The Coastal Bend Chefs, a chapter of the Texas Chefs Association based in Corpus Christi, TX, that includes so many of our community’s most talented culinary professionals. Ticket holders will be treated to a one of kind culinary experience featuring only ingredients sourced from our hard-working local farmers, bakers and producers operating within 200 miles or the Coastal Bend. Special care will be given to assure that your To Go Meal Experience is far from the average fare. Reheating, plating and presentation instructions will be included in every custom-curated package.
We encourage in person pick up, as we want to offer you a chance to see the hard work and talent of our staff, volunteers and chefs in-person. We will also have some in-person surprises available at pick-up. However, if this does not work for your schedule, we will be offering a delivery option for a fee of $20.00 per address.

Dinner tickets are still available at $100/Member or $125/Non-member. As an added bonus, the first 85 tickets sold (including the current ticket holders) will recieve additional bonus "Swag Bags" with locally made goods! This is something you surely will not want to miss!
