The Story

Bethany & I love this annual surf & paddle jam all female event. (This is our 7th year to participate). Participating allows us to give back to First Responders & Nurses. I've always said, "water is therapy", and Operation Get Out is a great organization that uses that motto to guide its events and activities. As the charity continues to grow in number and need, funding is always appreciated! Please consider supporting our Team by contributing a donation of any amount. (Dawn)

Join me as I raise funds to support female first responders, military, nurses and front line workers through Operation Get Out. OpGetOut is a 501c3 nonprofit that provides outings, events and resources that inspire and empower others to intentionally utilize nature and water as a powerful tool for mental, emotional and physical wellness.

Operation Get Out was founded in honor of Travis County First Responders Kristin McLain and Jessica Hollis, both of whom committed their lives to serving others while utilizing nature and water for their own positive wellness impact. Kristin and Jessica both lost their lives while serving the Travis County community. This year's Get Out Girl event will be held on the 10th anniversary of the accident that claimed the life of Jessica Hollis.

Please join my efforts to support women on the front line and help others realize the lives they lead as first responders, military and nurses - and then to go home as mother's, daughters, caretakers, wives and partners.

Our goal is to give back to female first responders, veterans and front line workers with free admission to Surf and Paddle Jam. We do not want these ladies paying to attend, but instead, us saluting their service with free admission! Say "thank you" by providing entry to either event!

$250 Sponsor a Female Responder: BOTH

Salute to a female first responder's service and say "thank you" by sponsoring a female front line worker to a #bluemind water weekend with entry to both Surf & Paddle Jam!

Operation Get Out is a nonprofit 501c3 that provides outings, events and resources that intentionally utilize nature and water for positive mental, emotional and physical wellness impact for individuals and agencies experiencing grief, loss, trauma, anxiety, depression and PTS.
