June 1st, 2024 will be our fourth annual Clubhouse Giving Day fundraiser event! This event creates an opportunity for our community to come together to raise awareness and build sustainability for Clubhouses around the world, and each clubhouse has the opportunity to connect deeper with their local community members.

Flyering around town
Picking up event materials
Day of event help: Set up/Tear down/check in/etc,.

Fresh Start Clubhouse is a local non-profit organization that envisions a world where people living with mental illness lead healthy, productive lives and have equal opportunity. We are a member led, intentional community that fosters a sense of belonging and purpose for all people involved. Clubhouse is an evidence based practice and Fresh Start is accredited through Clubhouse International which helps over 350 Clubhouses worldwide be the best Clubhouses they can be. Currently, Fresh Start operates and provides membership for individuals in Washtenaw County who have a serious mental illness. The work we do in the Clubhouse each day is organized to help members develop self-esteem, confidence and friendships, which make up the foundation of the recovery process. The Clubhouse also connects members to resources in the greater community relevant to their recovery goals that may be focused on employment, education, health, wellness, advocacy and more.
