Saturday Morning Gardening Volunteer
Make a Positive Impact This Weekend by Gardening with Us!
Join us every Saturday morning to cultivate our agroforestry garden, and don’t miss the special Community Agroforestry Action Day hosted each third Saturday of the month!
Looking for a meaningful way to spend your Saturday morning? Join us in our agroforestry garden to help create a sustainable space that benefits both people and the planet. Every Saturday morning, we gather to tend to the garden, fostering not just plant life, but a thriving community dedicated to ecological care.
What to Expect
- Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Location: Ediblescapes Agroforestry Garden
- Activities: Volunteers can expect to engage in a variety of garden tasks that support our ecosystem’s health, such as planting, watering, composting, pruning, and harvesting seasonal crops. Each session offers a chance to connect with nature and learn practical skills in sustainable agriculture.
You don’t need any prior gardening experience—just a willingness to learn and a passion for making a positive impact. Our team will provide the necessary tools, instructions, and plenty of encouragement to help you succeed.
Why Volunteer on Saturdays?
- Start your weekend with purpose: Feel accomplished by starting your day in nature, helping to grow a garden that benefits the entire community.
- Learn sustainable gardening practices: You’ll gain hands-on experience in agroforestry and learn techniques you can apply at home or in other projects.

We’ll provide refreshments to keep you energized, and you’ll leave feeling fulfilled, knowing your work supports the greater good. Be sure to bring your gardening gloves, sunscreen, and a sense of adventure as we cultivate a better future together!
