Tuesday Morning Gardening Volunteer
Help Grow a Thriving, Sustainable Garden and Community!
Start your day by connecting with nature and making a real difference in our agroforestry garden! Every Tuesday morning, we invite volunteers of all experience levels to join us for a few hours of hands-on gardening. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just starting out, you’ll find a welcoming community at Ediblescapes, eager to share knowledge and work together to nurture the land.
What to Expect
- Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Location: Ediblescapes Agroforestry Garden
- Activities: Depending on the season and garden needs, volunteers will participate in a variety of tasks, such as planting, weeding, mulching, pruning, and harvesting. Learn about agroecology, permaculture principles, and sustainable gardening practices while contributing to a growing ecosystem that supports both biodiversity and our local community.
No experience is necessary! Our team will provide guidance and tools, and you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside like-minded individuals who share your passion for sustainability and community building.
Why Volunteer on Tuesdays?
- Kickstart your week with purpose: There’s no better way to begin your day than by giving back to the earth and contributing to a living, breathing ecosystem.
- Learn and grow: Volunteers have the chance to deepen their understanding of agroforestry and permaculture, gaining hands-on experience with sustainable gardening techniques.
- Meet new people: Gardening together is a great way to meet like-minded individuals and become part of a vibrant community.
We provide water, snacks, and plenty of gratitude! Bring a hat, gloves, and your enthusiasm for getting your hands in the dirt. Every seed you plant or weed biomass cut and reorganised helps to create a healthier, more sustainable future for all.
