The problem is the solution… (Permaculture Principle - Bill Mollison)
After seven years at Country Paradise Parklands, Ediblescapes requires a direct license from the City of Gold Coast Council to advance our new agroforestry zone in 2025-2026.
To comply with council regulations, we need to upgrade our community garden infrastructure, focusing on sustainable, eco-friendly designs. We are seeking community support before submitting our projects for council approval.
Our vision includes:
Alfresco Community Kitchen: A space in the heart of the garden, surrounded by banana plants, where we can share the garden's harvest. The kitchen will collect rainwater for cooling and food storage.
Tool Shed: Constructed from repurposed plastic pallets for the walls and roof, providing an innovative, sustainable solution for storing tools and equipment.
Composting Toilet: A dry composting system designed to process waste efficiently and sustainably. It will be integrated with a biochar filtration system to treat greywater and rainwater, contributing to a cleaner, greener environment.
We ask for your support and contributions to help bring these projects to life!
"By signing, I endorse Ediblescapes' proposed sustainable community hub and support its approval by the City of Gold Coast Council."
