About EdeYouth Inc

Our Mission

EdeYouth is a non-profit organization which enables young people to acquire functional skills through relevant training programs. We emphasize on building self-awareness, self-esteem, as well as self-improvement among young adults age 13-21 in the United States and abroad. (Eh-day-Yooth = Help Youth) started after the 2010 Earthquake in Haiti returning from a mission trip, six board members birthed the organization on June 24th 2010.

Poverty is a never-ending cycle leading to crime, violence, domestic abuse, drug trafficking, overpopulation and illiteracy. Disengaged youths are more vulnerable to depression, alcoholism, drug abuse, and radicalization. EdeYouth strives to break this cycle of poverty and bring forth a generation of leaders and global citizens. We started servicing the community in the United States on April 30th, 2016.

Our goal is to enrich the youth lives by providing opportunities to build strong moral, family values through job creation. Targeted groups are from foster care, shelters, rape victims, single mothers, youth from our communities, creating an outlet for emotional healing. EdeYouth helps our youth to imagine new possibilities for their future and become models within their communities

OUR PARTNER

The Alexander Youth Etiquette for Success (Y.E.S.), named after Alexander Hurd, the father of Annette Hurd-Runcie, co-owner and operator of Pa-Nash EuroSoul Catering & Events, is a non-profit that aims to empower youth within the urban community. They do this by providing social and professional etiquette programs that will better prepare youths for their career aspirations and to become a positive influence within their community. The Y.E.S Initiative recruits 6 young girls and boys yearly for a 12-month intensive program. It is compacted with etiquette training and empowerment seminars with credible guest speakers and successful professionals. Alexander Y.E.S. also plan to place each youth in a small business within the community where they can acquire business etiquette. We partnered in 2019, when we work together, we are stronger and we impact more.
