Working to Reduce Homelessness & Improve the Quality of Life for Our Community.
Since 2010, we have built robust partnerships with community stakeholders, elected officials, and regional service providers to expand outreach and connect more individuals experiencing homelessness with housing and shelter services. As the primary point of contact for most unhoused individuals Downtown, our team is central to outreach efforts on the ground. Our approach prioritizes building trust within the community through one-on-one engagement, understanding each unique circumstance, and helping them find pathways to stable housing. This past year marked a milestone for us as the leading organization addressing homelessness in Downtown. Through our Family Reunification Program, we helped over 500 individuals return to supportive family networks, bringing our total to more than 3,500 since the program's inception. Additionally, we connected 1,338 individuals to shelters and launched O Lot as a service provider, a safe sleeping program that has provided shelter and services to over 200 individuals. While these achievements are significant, we recognize the ongoing challenges and while we cannot solve this crisis entirely, we cannot avoid it either. There has never been a more crucial time to cultivate stronger relationships in the community to propel our work to the next level.
