Carolina Youth Ballet (CYB) is a Cary-based nonprofit organization operating as a ballet company for school-aged dancers studying the art of classical ballet. In addition to cultivating the discipline, technique, and grace required of world-class dancers, CYB's mission includes professional stage productions and smaller performances throughout the community. 

CYB is more than a youth program. It's an avenue to expand social and cultural advancement through the arts. Why? Because the discipline and motivation imparted to our local pupils lay the groundwork for future cultural literacy, social consciousness, and professional success.

In short, the arts are essential!

CYB produces two major performances each year: The Nutcracker and a spring performance. Beyond these stage productions, our dancers engage in community outreach, bringing special performances to neighbors who otherwise may not have access, including residents at local retirement communities.
