Our mission is to provide the Cuernavaca neighborhood with a space to grow healthy produce, connect with neighbors, offer educational opportunities about organic food production, composting and water sustainability, all the while transforming an underutilized space into a valuable and beautiful community area for all to enjoy!

It all began on a seemingly ordinary day, our founding member, Kristy Wisdom, was looking for advise on how to save some of her garden plants that were struggling.  She casually reached out to some local friends and while discussing her plant needs the idea for a neighborhood space to connect with fellow gardeners took root! As she worked to grow a network of members to support this dream she soon met with fellow Cuerny neighbors, Selina Serna, Jessica Hernandez and Sabine Hemmingway! Now armed with some support the garden project has begun to bloom! From small beginnings; securing the site location, removing trees, leveling the lot, installing fencing, and installing water lines, you can see things are continually progressing!  We are passionately committed to seeing the Cuernavaca Community Garden become a reality and we hope to garnder YOUR support to help make it happen in 2023!
