What is behind the name unGALA?

If you know the co-founders, then the name is self explanitory! If you don't know them, then you need to get to know them!  They are not traditional in their approach to missions and ministry, so having a Gala would not be their style. They want you to be you - and be comfortable coming to an event however you want to in order to have a great time!  No need to waste your money on ball gowns and tuxedos (unless you want to) -  you can wear your favorite date night outfit, your best jeans, your work clothes or dressiest formal; just come ready to have a fun time, hear from an AMAZING speaker and get your groove on! 

Grab your tickets, your table or a sponsorship and jump on board partnering with Belle & Sparrows!  This year's unGALA funds will be supporting The Stella Center.

The Stella Center will provide a safe environment for the women to transition from a low wage earning position to one that can either supplement their income or provide them a job while they are learning new skills and a trade to become exemplary employees at a job they have always dreamed of. This center will not only empower them to continue their journey, but also stand beside them as they succeed. Our vision is a future where all women will lead a healthy, fulfilling life of self-reliance and dignity. We have a team of individuals that are passionate about making this a reality by creating vibrant local economies where citizens, government officials and community-based organizations work in effective and collaborative partnerships.

This center will be a force for hope for them. The women are paid for the goods they produce, and women and children receive opportunities for work and school on another continent.  The connecting bridge of the Stella Projects is Embracing the World.
