THE CONTINUOS FIGHT
MEXICO IS THE COUNTRY WITH THE MOST STRAY DOGS AND CATS IN LATIN AMERICA
In Mexico, there is no census on pets or domestic animals. However, the Mexican Association of Veterinary Doctors Specialists in Small Species (AMMVEPE) estimates that there are around 28 million , of which 70% are on the street, 19 million 600 thousand, a figure that grows 20% every year.
A NEVER ENDING PROBLEM
About 500,000 dogs and cats are abandoned each year in Mexico. A part of them are acquired as Christmas, Holiday and Valentine's Day gifts, but months later the owners lose interest in them, and leave them on the street.
TOO MUCH SUFFERING
Abuse, cold, hunger, rejection and diseases are just some of the situations that the millions of stray dogs go through in Mexico who, despite being the least guilty for being homeless, have to manage daily in order to survive.
DISEASE, NEVER ENDING CICLE
Likewise, 75 percent of these canines have not received a vaccine or deworming in their entire lives, which becomes a risk to public health and a source of infection for other dogs.
WHAT WE DO
We adopt furry babies, dogs and cats, that have very little chance of survival or that are in very poor condition, as well as puppies that cannot survive on their own.
OUR GOAL
CATCH STERILIZE AND RELEASE OR RETURN TO THE OWNER, TO BE ABLE TO CONTROL THE POPULATION. CREATE AWARENESS IN IRRESPONSIBLE OWNERS AND IMPLEMENT BETTER LAWS THAT PROTECT ANIMALS
