👩🏻🎓 As an immigrant, I was the first in my family to go to college. I had to learn on my own how to navigate the process of applying to schools, figuring out how to pay for school, deciding on a major to set a career path....it was daunting and scary.
When I was first introduced to NGS I could see myself in the young women we serve. I wished that these programs had existed for high school age Anh. This is why I'm passionate about making sure that these career exploration and leadership development programs exist for today's high school girls, who will be the leaders of tomorrow.
Nerdy Girl Success believes in the limitless potential of young women. Their goal is to provide high school and college girls with unparalleled opportunities for career exploration and skill development that pave the way for long-term success.
Through comprehensive programs, young women have the opportunity to:
- Connect with Career Women: Through mentorship and job shadowing experiences, participants gain firsthand insights into various industries and professions.
- Build a Supportive Network: Our program fosters a community where like-minded girls can connect, collaborate, and support each other’s growth.
- Develop Leadership Skills: In a safe and supportive environment, participants are encouraged to flex their leadership muscles, enhancing their confidence and capabilities.
All of this is provided completely free of charge. Financial barriers should never stand in the way of a girl's ambition and her journey towards a successful career.
This can only be accomplished through your generous contribution! YOU can directly impact the lives of these young women, providing them with the tools, resources, and support they need to achieve their dreams. Together, we can create a brighter future for these incredible young women.
