Peer-to-peer fundraising (P2P) is when supporters of a nonprofit organization or cause fundraise on behalf of that nonprofit by reaching out to their network of family, friends, coworkers, etc. (their peers). Often, the P2P fundraisers launch their efforts simultaneously with one of the nonprofit’s fundraising campaigns. 

Will you help us fundraise for our Elevated Outcomes Campaign? This campaign’s goal will be to fundraise $35,000 to fund 100 hours of Elevated Outcomes leadership development training for AOC in our community. 

What are Elevated Outcomes? Elevated Outcomes supports marginalized girls and women through mentorship, coaching, and educational workshops. This program is one of several entry points for young women to engage in Ambassadors of Change programs. Elevated Outcomes will cultivate an expansion mindset through life  skill acquisition and increasing self-efficacy. 

Why are they important? Negative sociopolitical experiences, including racism, discrimination, and sexism, put Black and African descent women at risk for low-income jobs, multiple role strain, and health problems, all of which are associated with the onset of mental illness. Elevated Outcomes participants will gain an increase in self-efficacy, social and political knowledge and a sense of empowerment to become agents of change in their communities.
