Having a kid that is differently abled can be EXPENSIVE!!! After medicine and therapies many families dont have any money left over for the "fun stuff". Aidan plays ice hockey for Cat 5 Canes a league here in North Carlolina that helps all people with intellectial and developmental disabilities a sage, fun and judgement free place to learn and play ice hockey. This leagies is practically free ($35) where hockey can be a very expenive sport these kids get all teh equipment, jerseys, and ice team for basically nothing and it is incredible. We are doing our annual fundraiser to help keep these people geared up and on the ice. Every dollar helps. If Aidan has touched your heart in anyway, mayne through seeing his kind and tneder heart or if you watch James and I doing all we can to give our boys equal opportunities , then PLEASE make a donation to this incredible league that has meant so much to our family.
For our first annual Super Shootout each person who raises at least $100 by December 1 will get a t-shirt AND the chance to “shoot out” against league coaches at our year-end celebration at the Polar Ice Plex in Raleigh. Meet Coach Mark. Doesn't he make a great target?
If I raise more that $100 I can earn extra entries into a Chuck-A-Puck Challenge to win cool prizes. There will be other prizes too!
I LOVE playing hockey. I've made some great friends, and learned a lot. Please consider a donation!
