The Austin Center for Grief & Loss has been proudly serving the Austin Community since 2007. Our extensive volunteer training prepares our support group facilitators to support and accompany children and adults who are experiencing grief, loss, and trauma on their journey to hope, healing and transformation.
The clinician-led Volunteer Facilitator training consists of 10 virtual training hours divided into five 2 hour training sessions. These trainings will be hosted over Zoom. You will be communicating directly with the Clinical Director who will provide all the necessary information for you to complete the training. Please provide an email that you check regularly so you don't miss any messages!
We ask that prospective volunteer facilitators attend all training dates. The training dates for the Fall 2024 Training Cohort are the following:
November 18th 10:00 AM - 12:00 AM
November 19th 10:00 AM - 12:00 AM
