About the Speaker:
Dr. Gena St. David serves as the Director of the Center for Counseling and Spirituality and Professor of Counselor Education at Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, TX. She is a licensed professional counselor supervisor and licensed marriage and family therapist supervisor specializing in systemic therapies, trauma resilience, and neuroscience. St. David has authored multiple publications on the neuroscience of spirituality and nonviolence including The Brain & the Spirit (Wipf & Stock, 2021); her newest book (in process) explores key factors in impactful nonviolent practices to reduce animal suffering, protect human lives and save our climate.
