Come and see:

Shanidar by Chandler Hubbard, September 5-8

In a post-apocalyptic world, is it any wonder that it is women who survive? Shanidar follows a found family of women eeking out survival in a seemingly uninhabited world (or is it?). They love, they fight, and they try to find the beauty even in the dark.

Hypotheticals by Rebecca Anne Nguyen, November 7-10

A tale as old as time: a woman kisses a stranger in an elevator on her way to mandatory psychotherapy. Only to discover that the stranger is, in fact, her therapist. A romantic comedy with a twist, Hypotheticals shatters stereotypes about what it means to have a neurodivergent brain, reminding us that the 20% of the population to whom this applies aren't faulty, but simply human.

The Art of Martyrdom (A Comedy) by Rita Anderson, February 28-March 3

An irreverent behind-the-scenes look at Hrosvitha, our foremother and the first female playwright. The Art of Martyrdom explores who this playwright was in all of her playfulness and how her "secret" plays got out at all. Because after all, if the first female playwright of the Western world lived 500 years before Shakespeare, then why has no one heard of her?

New Musical Workshop, April 10-13

This has the potential to be one of the most exciting parts of our entire season. Stay tuned for what musical(s) will specifically be featured, but this is Wild Imaginings' foray into the world of new musical development! We have become nationally renowned for our play festival, and it is time that we place our love of musical theatre alongside it.

Twelfth Night, Shakespeare in the Park, June 5-8

Shakespeare's classic love-triangle comedy full of more confusion and chaos than a circus. A play about identity, connection, and a complete and utter lack of communication, this play is not to be missed. Join us for some hearty laughs and iconic Shakespeare!
