Happy Holidays!
As 2022 comes to an end, we want to take a moment to thank you for all your generosity and support. Since 2018, your generous giving has helped us fund more than $1.4 million in needs in 43 different states to enrich the lives and well-being of children with brain injury, and give hope to their families through support and education.
With our growth comes awareness and an opportunity to help more families each year. Starting today, Dec. 5, Team Luke Hope for Minds is launching our annual Hope for Holidays campaign to raise additional funds for the increasing number of applications we are receiving. This year, we have had a record number of families apply for financial support. Unfortunately, we have not had the funds to approve the increasing number of applications we are receiving, and we need your help. Currently, we have 27 families in need of more than $97,000 in financial support to fund therapies, treatments, adaptive equipment, educational services and more.
Like Bryson from Dallas, TX. He suffered an anoxic brain injury after experiencing a loss of oxygen due to RSV when he was 3 months old. His family reached out to Team Luke Hope for Minds to help purchase adaptive equipment that has helped Bryson build core strength, which directly impacts his feeding, his ability to stand and has allowed him to be more involved in school, and helped the family emotionally and financially.
Ever since Bryson’s injury, his family is doing all they can to adapt to this life-altering situation. And if not for YOU, they couldn’t have life-changing therapies, resources, and equipment they need to do so.
Hence, as we approach the joyous celebration of Christmas, we urge you to come forward and support more children and families in need this year. By choosing to give, you can once again deliver hope this holiday season to children impacted by a brain injury. Join us! Your gift gives Hope for the Holidays – one precious child at a time.
