We strive to foster an interest in STEM careers through mentoring, community events, education, and financial support.

We aim to facilitate and foster interest in STEM fields and increase diversity and inclusivity by supporting students and educators.

Shattering Ceilings Origin - Adriana Cicero and Estee Reeves created this organization in 2019. As life-long friends, they grew up in a rural community with big dreams. As young students in middle- and high-school, the small-town mindset created limiting beliefs that they had to strive to overcome. They both went on to pursue higher education at large universities and became innovators in their respective fields.  They dreamt of a way to increase diverse representation in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) career field. Together, they created Shattering Ceilings, The Initiative, a a 501(c)(3) organization. Our goal: to encourage young girls and women to explore and become excited about the prospect of a career in STEM. We want to empower these young minds by helping them find and embrace opportunities to expand their horizons and further their education.
