SAMO Fund works to protect and encourage appreciation and understanding of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The Fund achieves this by supporting National Park Service efforts in education, science, research, improved facilities, citizen engagement, stewardship and philanthropy.
During Picnic in the Park you will hear from NPS rangers about their conservation work, enjoy some music by Santa Monica-based singer/songwriter Abby Posner (https://Abbyposner.com) and check out our fabulous auction!
On the day, why not join with family and / or friends for your own socially-distanced watch party and have a picnic together for the park! The program itself will be 30 - 40 minutes long.
Panera Bread restaurants in Agoura Hills and Woodland Hills are hosting fundraisers on June 4th for this event! So you can easily organize your own picnic.
