We are continuing our search for a new home!

We continue our seach for a new home!

We first want to thank those that contributed in the first part of our Fundraising Campaign, we raised over $5000! Additional funding is always welcome to help defray the costs of moving, build-out and furnishing the new space. Your donation, in any amount, will help us with this effort to keep arts alive in Austin.

Everybody who donates will get an invitation for a sneak peek of the new space

We are continuing the search, we are ideally looking for a space with more than 15,000 square feet, somewhat centrally located, affordable, and does not need a lot of work to bring it up to speed. We are working witj a realator broker, but please contact you if you have an inside scoop of any space that may potentially work for Pump Project.

WHO WE ARE

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to providing affordable working studios and arts facilities to emerging and established artists, and serve the community with year-round gallery exhibition programming, art creating and teaching facilities, and are a major stop on the East Austin Studio Tour each year, a testament to the great work of our members.

Our history began in 2005 with a few artists, an old empty warehouse, and a substantial amount of initiative. In the course of thirteen years, Pump Project’s iconic warehouse had become a staple of the Austin art community by providing exhibition facilities and affordable studio space for hundreds of artists over the years.

Our community of over 40 artists has been proud to call this bright yellow warehouse on Shady Lane home. While we are saddened that the building has been sold, despite endless efforts to preserve the beloved iconic arts space, we are looking forward as we reemerge at our new location this fall – hope to see you there.
