Nourish Knoxville, Inc. is a Knoxville-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization cultivating healthy communities by supporting relationships between local farmers, producers, and the public. In addition to managing the Market Square Farmers' Market, The Winter Farmers' Market, and New Harvest Farmers' Market, Nourish benefits the community in several ways. In 2022, we were able to:

Increase economic opportunity for farmers and food producers with over 90 days of farmers' markets that supported 160 small businesses and hosted 200,000 visitors.

Keep kids engaged in the food system with 1,650 children participating in Nourish Kids who received $18,000  to spend on fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables.

Donate over $18,000 worth of local produce and eggs to our partners to feed over 1000 of our neighbors.

Increase accessibility to local food for all through Double Up Food Bucks at 16 participating farmers’ markets and farm stores in East Tennessee. Over $48,000 were spent by SNAP recipients with local food producers.

Continue to encourage healthy habits through Nourish Moves with 900 participants walking over 1750 miles, spending $6,500 in Produce Bucks.

Increasing access to fresh, local food for all is vital to building strong and fair communities.
