Child sex trafficking is a growing problem.  Texas has the second-most reported child sex trafficking cases in the United States.  Children who are caught in this web need help! The Austin 20's Nicole's Place project will provide temporary care in a peaceful, trauma-informed environment for girls who have survived sex trafficking.  Through individualized therapeutic care, each girl will be assessed based on her specific experiences and circumstances to determine the best path toward the success of her long-term treatment.

Nicole's Place Facts:

• Nicole's Place will serve sex trafficking survivors from the ages of 11-17.
• UpBring, formerly Lutheran Social Services, has over 135 years of experience with children who have experienced trauma and will provide the operational services for Nicole’s Place.   
• Nicole’s Place is set to break ground in early November beginning with two cottages that will house up to 10 girls.  
• Plans are completed for cottages to house up to 40 girls on the campus and provide a transitional period of assessment as their next step is determined.
