The BACC Annual Silent Auction supports BACC programming and resources that help Small Business and Main Street Retailers develop and prosper. Funds are used to produce events that result in dollars spent here in the Barrington Area. Our Silent Auction also funds our Lauren Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund, named after a former BACC employee, Lauren Brown, who died at the young age of 29 from ovarian cancer.  Each year in her honor we award thousands of dollars in scholarship monies to local students attending universities, community college, trade school and certification programs, as careers are built in many ways. Nearly 100 new members join BACC annually to expand their spheres of influence, build their connections in the community, and promote their products and services. BACC has over 800 members including large and small employers, main street retailers, professionals and more. BACC creates programming and offers resources that unify, market and promote local business.  We are the go-to resource for local business referrals.  Our website processes thousands of targeted searches for local resources each year.  Our office staff fields thousands of inquiries annually for local business and community information.  And, our printed directories are an important community resource delivered to every mailbox in the Barrington area. 

Bidding on our Silent Auction is open to everyone.  Aucton items will be on display during the BACC Annual Dinner Thursday, January 27, from 5:30 to 9:00 pm at Avante Banquets.  Tickets are available at www.BarringtonChamber.com.  Bid winners who attend the event can take their items home that evening.  Bid winners who are not in attendance can pick up their winnings at the BACC office the following week. Bidding for the BACC Silent Auction runs from January 17 through January 27, 2022.  Bidding will close at 8:30 pm on Jan. 27 during our Annual Dinner, our in-person event at Avante Banquets.
