This year has made it extra challenging for fundraisers. RISE remains positive and is rising to the challenge. On a personal note, I am a parent and I have had people in my own family survive domestic violence. To support RISE’s mission is to not let hurtful lived experiences make me feel helpless. It is showing by example to my daughter how the world is being more helpful and less hurtful.
