Ring the Chimes on stage with the THSO during the performance of the 1812 Overture on November 4, 2023! This is a special opportunity to perform alongside our professional percussionists. The chimes play a monumental and moving role at the end of the 1812 Overture. Details Winner will meet with Artistic Director David Bowden and Principal Percussion Keegan Sheehy 1:30pm-2:00pm on November 4 for an overview. Winner will attend dress rehearsal 3:30-4:30pm. During the concert, the winner will come backstage after intermission and sit on stage with the percussion section during second half of concert. The 1812 Overture is the final work on the program. Winner must dress in concert black (dressy black, black close toed shoes, black socks or stockings). |
