Healthy Women, Healthy World
Luncheon 2022
Wednesday, September 21 | Noon PDT
We all have the power to spread love to people who are hurting.
At our 7th annual luncheon, we invite you to join us to spread love and deliver life-saving medical care to women and children around the world. We’re honored to be joined by our keynote speaker; journalist, author, and business executive, Sheryl WuDunn. Plus, you’ll meet our 2022 Humanitarian Woman of the Year, Kathi Karnosh!
If you are passionate about being a champion for women and children's health and wholeness around the world, and want to connect with like-minded people, we'd love to see you at the luncheon!
Meet our Speaker, Sheryl WuDunn
Sheryl WuDunn is a Chinese American journalist, author, business executive and lecturer. She became the first Asian American woman to be awarded a Pulitzer Prize for her journalistic coverage of the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989. Since then, WuDunn has gone on to receive many awards for her advocacy work and was honored by Newsweek as one of the “150 Women Who Shake the World”. She has written several best-selling books with her husband, Nicholas D. Kristof. Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide centers on the impact empowering women in developing countries has to holistically transform their communities. Their most recent book, Tightrope: Americans Reaching for Hope, is a look at the struggles of working-class America set in Kristoff’s home in rural Yamhill, Oregon. Today, WuDunn speaks out in support of women's rights, economic issues, and non-profit funding.
