Volunteer Opportunities for the Breaking Bread Project

Join us in making a difference at the Breaking Bread Gala, hosted by Just Do It Movement, Inc.! This special event is designed to honor community members and participants who have completed our programs. We need dedicated and passionate volunteers to help us ensure a smooth and memorable experience for everyone involved.

Neighbor Experience Advocate

Ushers

Guide guests to their designated seating areas, assist with any seating questions, and ensure that the flow of people is smooth and organized. Ushers should be attentive and approachable, ready to help guests with any needs during the event.

  • Attire: Black and white clothing.

Food servers

Responsible for serving food to guests throughout the event. This includes setting up food stations, ensuring the food is replenished as needed, and maintaining a clean serving area. Friendly interaction with guests to ensure they have everything they need is essential.

  • Attire: Black and Red: Black dress pants, black button up shirt with red bow tie.

Sign-In Attendants

Greet guests as they arrive, assist with the sign-in process, and ensure everyone receives their table assignments. You'll help create a welcoming atmosphere by providing guests with information about the event and directing them to their tables.

Runners

Runners will be on standby to assist with various tasks as needed, such as delivering messages, fetching supplies, or helping with any unforeseen needs that arise during the event. These volunteers should be energetic, proactive, and ready to jump into action at a moment’s notice.
