Dear Community Friends,
Since 2003, Including Kids Autism Center has provided therapeutic instruction for children and young adults with autism and other developmental delays. In 2022, we rebranded Including Kids Autism Center to Inspire ND (The Inspire Project for Neurodiversity) and shifted our focus to serve adolescents and young adults with autism and other neurodiversity through our unique, high-quality programming and services, while continuing to serve all ages through our outreach services. We are celebrating 20 years of serving our community this year!
Our 16th Annual Aces for Autism Tennis Tournament will be held at Kingwood Country Club on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023. Funds raised from our tournament will directly benefit our Inspire ND program which includes our full-time day program, Inspire Skills, which focuses on teaching skills needed to be as independent in life as possible; programs through Inspire Outreach including free neurodiversity workshops for businesses, parent and caregiver trainings, community education workshops, and free neurodiverse friendly events. Funds are also supporting our social enterprise, the Inspire Store, which provides vocational training for our clients and individuals with neurodiversity in our community. Currently, autism affects 1 in 36 children and 1 in 5 individuals are considered neurodiverse, two statistics that are on the rise and call for action and support from our community. If you or someone you know would like to learn more about our organization and our event, please contact us at 832-790-7868 or visit us at www.inspireND.org
Sincerely,
Chuck Shepherd, Tennis Chairman
