Welcome to Moniques's HOPE for Education donation page to benefit The Hendricks HOPE Foundation!

For my Birthday Fundraiser this year, I chose the Hendricks Hope Foundation. In August 2021 I  was able to travel to Mombasa, Kenya through a wonderful organization called MRI- Mombasa Relief Initiative. I met Tyrica Hendricks, my Soror, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., and her best friend and foundation Board secretary, Stacey Queen, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., as well as one of her donors, Tasha Hall. I was able to witness firsthand the great work that both organizations engage in. I was overwhelmed by the basic needs that we take for granted, running water, books, clothes, hygiene products etc. I was able to connect with the women on a personal and spiritual level and we have become great friends. I respect the work they do and would like to fundraise for the girls that I met by helping with education. A High School Education is not free, it cost $600 per year to attend high school, and $2400.00 for four years. I am asking my family and friends to contribute and help me reach and exceed my goal.
