Fox Bravo Overland (FBO) is an off-road/overland adventure team consisting of a small group of U.S. military and law enforcement veterans who aggressively tackle long distance off-road challenges with customized four wheel drive vehicles. FBO has teamed up with Heroes Resource Center's Adventures For Heroes Outdoors Program to offer these adventures to Military and Law Enforcement active members and veterans regardless if you are injured, disabled or struggling.
FBO has completed over 18 veteran/first responder adventure expeditions and beginning in 2019 we included veterans from our allied countries, including the United Kingdom and New Zealand. In 2023 the team traveled several hundred miles in Colorado and Utah, conquering challenging off-road trails while working together.
From 8-18 September 2024, our team will consist of 24 male and female veterans and first responders, many of whom are struggling with physical and mental issues directly related to their service. We’ll begin in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and travel in off-road capable vehicles throughout the northern New Mexico and southern Colorado mountains, forests, and deserts.
Travel between camps will consist of challenging four-wheel drive trails. All team members will be responsible for driving, camp set-up/breakdown; vehicle recovery and maintenance; meal preparation and clean up and navigation tasks (depending on physical abilities).
